Metallic Silicon Powder
Metallic Silicon Powder, also known as industrial silicon powder, is produced from high-purity metallic silicon blocks. It features a silver-gray or dark gray appearance with metallic luster, high melting point, excellent heat resistance, strong oxidation resistance, and high electrical resistivity.
Often referred to as the "MSG of Industry", metallic silicon powder is an essential raw material widely used in refractory, organosilicon, metallurgy, semiconductor, lithium battery, and silica sol industries.
Applications
1. Refractory & Powder Metallurgy
Improves high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance in refractory bricks, furnaces, kilns, and kiln furniture.
2. Organosilicon Chemical Industry
Used for silicon monomers, silicone oils, silicone rubber, silanes, and anti-corrosion agents, providing heat resistance, insulation, and chemical stability.
3. Semiconductor Industry
Processed into single-crystal silicon wafers for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4. Metallurgy & Casting
Acts as alloying agent and reducing agent to improve steel hardenability and alloy performance.
5. Lithium Battery & Silica Sol
